Program Description:

Building enclosure failures can lead to costly repairs, legal disputes, and safety concerns—especially when structural considerations are overlooked. In this technical presentation, Majid Azadeh, PE, will walk attendees through real-world case studies highlighting challenges encountered in the design, construction, and remediation of building enclosures. Drawing on over three decades of hands-on experience in forensic architecture, engineering, and construction, Majid will explore how structural systems intersect with enclosure performance, with a focus on waterproofing, materials, and code compliance.

Whether you're a design professional, contractor, or involved in building management, this session will offer valuable insights into avoiding common pitfalls and ensuring long-term durability of building envelopes.
