Program Description: This course provides an overview of the considerations when installing concrete to receive floor coverings, with guidance on proper specification of concrete mix design, placement, and curing to secure a warranted floor covering system for the project.




Biography

Jeff Mosley is the Director of Technical Services at SINAK, an AIA Passport Provider. As a former C-33 Contractor, Concrete Forensic Specialist, Expert Witness, former member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), and current Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and ASTM International member, Jeff brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to his presentations. Jeff offers a unique perspective and has an innate ability to bridge the gaps between designers' goals, specifications, cross divisional product compatibility, function, and the team in the field, resulting in improved communication, reduced waste and time saved. Jeff has shared his expertise with tens of thousands of architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and specifications writers through thousands of hours of continuing education presentations, on-site support and analysis, and specification reviews.

Jeff currently serves as a voting member of ASTM Committee C09: Concrete and Concrete Aggregates and Committee F06: Resilient Floor Coverings and is the author of the "The Architects Guide to Concrete".
