This presentation will focus on the rebuilding effort of several condominium associations in the Santa Rosa area following the wildfire of October 2017. We'll discuss the challenges and lessons learned during the process.

What should you expect to learn at this meeting?

  • A step by step plan for moving forward from ground zero following a disaster

    • The choices and challenges of making the right clean-up decisions

    • How to find qualified contractors in a tight market

• How to find a qualified A&E design team

• How to navigate and work with insurance companies

•  Needs and communicating with people who have lost everything

Based on what we’ve learned, what should our future expectations be?

What can we do personally to influence what appears to be a bleak future in California?

What is the objective of this meeting?

    • Gain from firsthand experience what it means as a consultant if you become involved in a firestorm aftermath

• Develop an actual road map for proceeding forward in any scenario involving a partially or fully destroyed structure

• Discuss the pitfalls and challenges of what appears to be even simple decisions

• Understand what the future looks like and what they might do to positively influence it
