About this Presentation:
Electronic Leak Detection (ELD), also known as Vector Testing or EFVM, is a nondestructive method of membrane testing that is rapidly gaining acceptance from manufacturers, specifiers, consultants, and contractors around the world. This method is providing faster, safer, more accurate, and less expensive leak locating and integrity testing of waterproofing, roofing membranes, and traffic coatings. This process will pinpoint leaks directly so they can be immediately repaired and retested.
However, many people find themselves unfamiliar with the details of this technology, the principles employed, and the procedures followed when performing the testing. Familiarity ASTM 7877-14 can help ensure the testing will be conducted in the optimal manner and yield accurate results.
At this meeting:
• Understand the importance of the ASTM 7877-14 standard in membrane integrity testing.
• Understand the different types of equipment used in ELD membrane integrity testing and how and when each should be used.
• Identify when you should use ELD Testing or Flood Testing.
• Discuss the value of QA/QC provided by ELD Testing Agency.
