You are invited to the Dinner Educational Program "Re-roofing Project in Your Future? What You Need to Know Before You Start" on Wednesday, March 20th 2024 from 6:00 - 8:30pm at Zio Fraedo's in Pleasant Hill.

NEW! Program offers one (1) CEH from IIBEC!
NEW! Program offers one (1) AIA Credit from Aquatech!

Program Description:

Homeowner Associations and Building Owners will routinely solicit bids for re-roof projects without the input of an Independent Roofing Consultant to reduce the cost of a project. This approach can result in higher project costs and can ignore roofing problems that need to be addressed at the time of a re-roof project.

Roofing industry secrets will be shared by the presenters, used by contractors and manufacturers to increase profits for a re-roofing project. The presenters will explain the value of hiring Independent Roofing Consultants for re-roof projects using a case study of a recent re-roof project in the North Bay. Also covered in this topic are ways to save money, without sacrificing quality.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss complimentary bids and how to avoid them.
  • Identify the differences of fixed price lists versus per job pricing on roofing projects.
  • Evaluating re-roof proposals by examining what is being proposed and what is missing.
  • Implement common sense solutions to avoid future re-roof problems.
